We are seeking a skilled and dependable Systems & Database Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting databases, systems, and data-related operations to ensure reliability, performance, and smooth transitions between platforms.
Role: Systems & Database Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server databases
Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards
Perform data migration between systems (data mapping, cleansing, and validation)
Execute system upgrades and transitions with minimal downtime
Provide technical support for users and business systems
Monitor and maintain servers and operating systems
Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability
Troubleshoot system, network, and database issues
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong experience in SQL development and database reporting
Proven experience in data migration and system integration
Good knowledge of Windows Server environments
Experience with backup and disaster recovery processes
Ability to work under pressure and within a team environment
Nice to Have
Experience with ETL tools or data integration processes
Knowledge of Active Directory and user management
Experience with virtualization platforms (such as VMware or Hyper-V)
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or similar)
