English Proficiency

Teaching at BHCK is in English; therefore, you need to demonstrate a certain level of English proficiency.

To apply for admission at BHCK you will be required to either:

• Take the English assessment test. If you need to improve your English language skills, you can undertake courses in general and academic English (Foundation Program) designed specifically to enhance your language skills, or
  
• If you have a TOEFL score of 500 or an IELTS score of 5.0., you will be required to take the oral assessment only. The result of the oral assessment will determine your level of entry.

General Requirements:

1. Admission to courses at BHCK requires the completion of secondary education, which is equivalent to Year 12 in Australia.

2. Computer literacy is recommended for all courses.

How to Apply:

The Application form may be requested from the Admissions Department or downloaded from the website at http://www.bhck.edu.kw/

Documents Required:

1. You must attach the following to your application form:

• Two true copies of the original high school transcript (one must be in English), certified by the Ministry of Education in Kuwait.
  
• Two letters of equivalency from the Private Education Department attesting completion of Year 12 equivalent for non-Arabic high schools or high schools outside of Kuwait. 
  
• One photocopy of your Kuwait Civil ID or passport.
  
• Five Current passport size photos.
  

A non-refundable fee is charged for the processing of all applicants.
